The main, dominant creature in Lacerta in the Zogord. The Zogords typically measure 3-4 meters tall and are bipedal. The Zogords have two genders: male and female. Each Zogord is somewhat different than the other. Each one has a unique face and different body proportions. They mate in the same way that a typical lizard would. All Zogords have been evolved to breathe CO2 and need no water to survive. Oxygen is lethal to them. Zogords need to drink oil in order to survive and can eat whatever they see. Their teeth and claws are harder than diamonds and they can break anything expect their own claws. They resistant to nuclear reactions, nuclear waste, and radiation, so nuclear plants are abundant. They can resist up to 10,000 C of heat. They produce a purple body slime (similar to sweat in humans) that moistures up their skin and is deadly to any other species. The Zogords are known for their usual bad temper and constant rage outbursts. When they feel in danger or extremely angry, a Zogord is almost impossible to beat on a hand-to-hand combat due its huge size and lethal claws. In the origins of Lacerta, there were many other mutant species, but the Zogords quickly eradicated the other ones. Up to today, the only creatures in Lacerta are the Zogords. As with plants, there aren’t many plants in the planet due to the high amount of pollution, the atmosphere, and “The Great Explosion”. Still, there are two types of mutant plants that the Zogords love to harvest due to their exquisite flavor and health benefits. One of them is called “Enif” and the other is called “Num”. First, the Enif is a very tall plant which grows underground and feeds on CO2. Its green and produces a foul odor. It is at its best point after 1 Lacertan week (26.81 human days). It is similar to a human beet but it has a bigger, longer stem (up to 1 human meter tall). The other plant is the Num. The Num is a plant that grows in “Num trees” (the only type of trees found in Lacerta). It is round and black. It is at its best point after 1 Lacertan month (114.9 human days), and it also feeds on CO2.
