The Zogords are pretty isolated from the rest of the planet and thus they don’t trade with any other planet. Due to smallness of the planet and the fact that there is only one country the Zogords don’t trade with any else except themselves. Still, various cities and towns trade witch each other in order from each one to benefit. Many scientists believe that if they are able to get out the planet, Lacerta would become extremely wealthy due to its high oil, coal, and uranium reserves. Cities trade to other cities and towns resources such as oil, uranium, coal, metals, plants, and wood. Before the reign of Bragaran Raishucluck, Lacerta was a capitalist state. It was very prosperous and many people became very wealthy because of it. It was widely supported by the vast majority, but after Bragaran Raishucluck came to power it all ended. Since 7987, Lacerta has been a socialist state dominated by corrupting and oppression by the government and by Bragaran Raishucluck. The “Nioc” (Lacerta’s national and official currency) devaluated at an extreme rate. Before 7987, it was valued at 0.2 US dollars. Now, it is valued at 45 dollars. It’s good that Zogrods haven’t started trading with other planets because if they had they would have suffered even more to import goods due to the devaluation of the currency. The Zogords have suffered terribly due to the devaluation. Prices have risen, and everything is more expensive than before. The middle class has lowered a little bit while the lower class has risen by a small percent.
